Govt. of West Bengal Initiative
Student Credit Card Scheme (WBSCC)
The West Bengal Student Credit Card Scheme is a visionary initiative to provide hassle-free, low-interest collateral-free loans up to ₹10 Lakhs for higher studies. PINHS fully supports students in facilitating the application process for this scheme.
Eligibility & Key Features
- Resident: Permanent resident of WB for 10+ years.
- Age: Up to 40 years at the time of application.
- Loan Limit: Up to ₹10 Lakhs collateral-free.
- Interest: 4% simple interest (1% rebate if paid during study).
Application Guide
1 Register on wbscc.wb.gov.in with mobile & Aadhar.
2 Upload documents (Income proof, Admission receipt, etc.).
3 Institutional verification by PINHS Nodal Officer.
4 15 years long-term repayment period after course completion.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship (SVMCM)
The SVMCM scholarship is designed to assist meritorious students belonging to economically backward families. Nursing students at PINHS receive substantial monthly support disbursed directly to their bank accounts.
Academic Requirements
- Merit: Minimum 60% marks in aggregate in last exam.
- Income: Annual family income below ₹2.5 Lakhs.
- Domicile: Must be a permanent resident of WB.
Nursing Support Amounts
- B.Sc Nursing: ₹5,000 per month (₹60,000 annually).
- GNM Nursing: ₹1,500 per month (₹18,000 annually).
- Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) via Bank Account.
